Review: Yasmin Finds THE WAY: Christian Spiritual Romance by Crystal Mary Lindsey

Yasmin Finds THE WAY: Christian Spiritual Romance

by Crystal Mary Lindsey

Fully covered from head to toe in the shapeless apparel of the Muslim faith, Yasmin Dupont despises her life of forced endurance. Living with her father, who is rarely at home, and a stepmother who enjoys tormenting her, she desperately escapes from this bondage.

With careful planning and a change of name, Yasmin flees her misery under cover of darkness.
Can her escape succeed? Or will she be HUNTED DOWN, kidnapped, and punished?

After running away, she discovers a life of freedom, kindness, friendship, and acceptance.
Never could she imagine in her wildest dreams the adventures that lay before her.
Romance blooms with the gorgeously handsome head of emergency, Doctor Roan Butler, whom she captivates at first sight. But can he protect Yasmin from the thugs hired to find her?

Clive James, a retired Judge, and Dr. Roan's uncle are suspicious of Yasmin's parentage. Playing detective, he unearths a secret lie that will bring tears of disbelief yet blissful happiness.

Yasmin comes to know of the loving sacrifice of Jesus, the son of God. She embraces this knowledge with thankful understanding - that Jesus can set her FREE.

My Take:

Yasmin is done with life under the thumb of her wicked stepmother, who is using all her influence and power to harm her. With the help of a close friend and some undercover moves worthy of a spy novel, she sneaks from home, changes her name and moves to the far side of Australia to begin a new life as a new person. A new life that seems centered around a hospital and the lead surgeon in the Emergency Room, Doctor Roan Butler, a handsome, available friendly doctor who has never seemed too interested in tying the knot - that is, until Yasmin enters those doors. Will she reveal her past to her new love interest, or keep it hidden?

But our past has a tendency to catch up to us, and Yasmin's past is no different.

But there are secrets about Yasmin's past even SHE doesn't know, secrets buried so deep only the diligent work of one of Australia's High Judges can uncover. Secrets that could change her life forever.

Content:

Drug Content:
G – There's nothing. Squeaky clean.

Violence:
PG – There is a kidnapping, and an arranged killing proposed.

Language:
G - squeaky clean.

Adult Content:
G - This is squeaky clean. There's romance, but nothing beyond a kiss.

Christian content:
There is not a lot of church attendance, but there is definitely prayer and faith exhibited, a conversion story and the exhibition of Christ's love in how the characters interact. Decisions are made to take the moral high road. Self sacrifice is here, and at risk of harm, too. Deliverance from evil and spiritual warfare are depicted here too, though evil stalks in the shadows.

Final Analysis:
Yasmin Finds THE WAY by Crystal Mary Lindsey is a stirring glimpse into the plight of those trapped in Islam and a heartwarming tale of the deliverance found in Christ. There's the spice of romance, the thrill of adventure, high stakes and plot twists to keep you guessing. I thoroughly enjoyed this romance and recommend it for anyone looking for a lighthearted clean romance with a message of hope. Five Stars!
